a new column on The Stopgap

hey y’all!

I’m happy to share the my new column The Comp Het Canon, has premiered on The Stopgap today! You can read the first essay, all about the movie Frances Ha, here.

I’m super excited for this series of writing to be kicked off after a few months of development with The Stopgap’s Jo Livingstone. Essays will be all about films that reinforce compulsory heterosexuality, and will be published once a month!
